In a recent episode of the show ‘Hot Ones Versus,’ Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) found himself in a friendly competition with his fellow musician Trippie Redd. The show, which typically features celebrities answering increasingly spicy questions while eating hot wings, turned into a competition between the two artists. At one point, Redd brought up MGK’s previous offer to pay Travis Kelce $1 million to leave the Kansas City Chiefs and join his hometown Cleveland Browns football team.
Redd then dared MGK to burn that bridge by saying three mean things about Kelce’s girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift. However, MGK refused, saying, ‘You have got to be out of your motherf—ing mind if you think I want any smoke with that fanbase.’ He added that Swift is ‘a saint and very nice’ to him, and that Kelce is his friend.
MGK’s refusal to badmouth Swift is particularly notable given the fact that he has known Kelce since their high school days as crosstown sports rivals in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Despite their close friendship, MGK refused to say anything negative about Swift, showing his respect for her and her fans.
