Marshella Chidester, a 66-year-old Michigan woman, has been charged with second-degree murder and multiple other offenses following a horrific crash at the Swan Boat Club in Monroe County on Saturday. The tragic incident claimed the lives of 8-year-old Alanah Phillips and her 4-year-old brother, Zayn Phillips. Their mother and another sibling were among the individuals who sustained injuries in the crash. According to court records, Chidester faces eight charges related to the deadly crash. She has remained in police custody since the incident and was scheduled to appear in court later on Tuesday.
