Miranda House Secures Second Rank in NIRF 2024 College Rankings

Miranda House, a prominent women’s college in Delhi, has once again achieved a remarkable feat by securing the second position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 rankings for colleges. This marks the ninth edition of the NIRF report, which is developed by the Ministry of Education to evaluate and rank higher education institutions across India. The NIRF 2024 rankings are based on five crucial criteria: Teaching, Learning, and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practices (RPC), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Perception (PER). Notably, Miranda House has consistently held the top spot since 2017, showcasing its unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

For example, in the academic year 2020-21, out of 1547 graduating students, 1250 secured placements with an average salary of INR 6,89,053.
