In a tightly contested Group B match of the 133rd Durand Cup, Mohammedan Sporting and Inter Kashi FC played out a 1-1 draw at the Kishore Bharati Stadium on Sunday.
Inter Kashi FC took the lead in the 38th minute through a brilliant solo effort from Nikola Stojanovic, who found the back of the net from the edge of the box. The visitors had several opportunities to extend their lead, but the Mohammedan Sporting defense remained resolute, limiting the damage.
However, Mohammedan Sporting responded with vigor in the second half and found the equalizer in the 67th minute. Ashley Koli stepped up to convert a free-kick beautifully, securing a point for his team.
Despite multiple attempts from both sides to break the deadlock, the match ended in a stalemate, leaving both teams with a point each in the Group B standings.
