Stefanie Curran, 40, embarked on an adventure to Paris with her sons Brody and Romeo, opting for this unique destination instead of a traditional theme park visit in the UK due to its affordability.
From Bristol, the family flew to Paris with three £55 return flights. They indulged in eleven hours of exploring the city, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and taking a £71 sightseeing bus tour that allowed them to hop on and off at various attractions.
Curran highlighted the significant cost savings compared to UK theme parks. She estimated that a day at a local waterpark would have amounted to £95 per person, while a visit to Legoland with an overnight stay would have cost £500.
The family’s Parisian escapade not only included sightseeing but also delectable treats. Brody’s special request for the most expensive croissant in Paris was fulfilled during one of their bus stops.
Curran expressed her satisfaction with their Parisian birthday celebration, emphasizing its budget-friendliness and educational value. She plans to embark on another summer adventure, possibly to Alicante, with her family.
