Motorola Razr (2024) and Razr Plus (2024): Larger Cover Screens and Upgraded Specs Expected

Motorola’s lineup of foldable Razr smartphones is set to expand with the upcoming Razr (2024) and Razr Plus (2024) models. According to rumors, the budget-oriented Razr (2024) will boast a significantly larger 3.63-inch cover screen compared to the previous model’s 1.5-inch display. This enhancement aligns it with the standout feature of the more expensive Razr Plus. The Razr Plus (2024) is also expected to feature an even larger 4-inch cover display. Both devices are anticipated to have 6.9-inch main displays, with the Razr Plus offering a higher refresh rate. Under the hood, the Razr (2024) is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chip, paired with 8GB of RAM. It is expected to feature a 50MP main camera and a 13MP telephoto camera, along with a 4,200mAh battery. The Razr Plus (2024), on the other hand, is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip with 12GB of RAM and an upgraded 4,000mAh battery with 45-watt charging support. Its camera setup is expected to include a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with a 2x optical zoom. Both models are expected to offer improved water and dust resistance and come in a range of color options, including Pantone-certified Peach Fuzz, Blue, and Green. The new Razr phones are anticipated to be unveiled in June, with an international launch as the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra. They are then expected to arrive in the United States as the Razr (2024) and Razr Plus (2024), respectively.
