MP Board Class 10 Result 2024: Over 16 Lakh Students’ Fate Unveiled

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has released the highly anticipated results for the 2024 High School (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th) exams. Over 16 lakh students eagerly awaited the outcomes, as they aimed to meet the minimum passing requirement of 33% in both theory and practical components.

Historical Gender Gap in Pass Rates


Historically, the pass rates for male and female students have exhibited a gender gap, with females typically outperforming males. This trend is evident in the MP Board’s Class 10 results over the past four years (2021-2024).

– In 2021, both genders had a perfect pass rate of 100%.
– In 2022, boys achieved a pass rate of 56.84%, while girls fared slightly better at 62.47%.
– The trend continued in 2023 with boys at 60.26% and girls at 66.47%.
– The latest results for 2024 show a further dip, with boys at 54.35% and girls at 61.88%.

District-wise Performance


The pass percentage for the MP Board 10th Result 2024 varies across districts in Madhya Pradesh. Government schools in Narsingpur district have the highest pass percentage at 81.02%, followed by Balaghat (72.36%), Anooppur (70.89%), Mandla (70.49%), and Alirajpur (70.47%). Among non-government schools, Singroli has the top pass percentage with 74.17%, followed by Sidhi (83.5%), Dindori (72.57%), Panna (70.91%), and Khandwa (70.22%). Overall, government schools have a slightly higher pass percentage than non-government schools in the state.

Lowest Pass Percentage


– The lowest pass percentage for government schools is in Sheopur (49%), followed by Morena (48.64%), Rewa (48.29%), Harda (47.82%), and Ashok Nagar (46.42%).
– For non-government schools, the lowest pass percentage is in Agarmalwa (41.82%), followed by Shivpuri (47.29%), Damoh (39.14%), Bhind (43.68%), and Tikamgarh (43.25%).
