MSEDCL Woman Technician Murdered in Pune District Over Electricity Bill Dispute

According to an official from Supa police station, Pote had earlier complained about receiving an inflated electricity bill of Rs 570, but no action was reportedly taken. On Wednesday morning, he allegedly went to the MSEDCL office and attacked Thite, who had recently returned from a ten-day leave, with a sharp weapon. Thite was rushed to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries during treatment. Pote has been arrested under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including Section 302 (murder), and further investigation is ongoing.
