MSI has just unveiled a slew of new AMD Ryzen AI 300 series “Strix Point” APU-powered laptops, targeting high-end gaming, content creation, and workstation users. These new laptops were showcased at the recent ChinaJoy 2024 event, presenting a diverse range of models for different needs.
The company’s flagship offering, the TITAN 18 PRO Ryzen Edition 2024, boasts AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 9 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365 “Strix Point” APUs. These APUs pack 12 cores and 24 threads (370) or 10 cores and 20 threads (365), respectively. The APUs also feature upgraded RDNA 3.5-based GPU cores, with up to 16 CUs running at speeds of up to 2900MHz.
The TITAN 18 PRO Ryzen Edition 2024 pushes the boundaries with its high-end configuration, featuring the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 “Strix Point” APU, NVIDIA’s top-tier GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU, generous RAM and storage, and an expansive 18-inch OLED display.
Another notable addition is the Stealth 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition 2024. This slim and lightweight laptop packs a 16-inch 2.5K+ OLED panel with an ultra-smooth 240Hz refresh rate. The Stealth 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition weighs in at a mere 2.1kg and measures just 19.9mm thick, achieved through a Magnesium-Alloy chassis design. It boasts up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory, the MSI Cooler Boost 5 thermal solution, and an RTX 4070 Laptop GPU option.
MSI promises to release detailed specifications and pricing information for its new fleet of AMD Ryzen AI 300 series “Strix Point” APU laptops in the coming days, with global releases expected within the next few weeks.
