During the apprehension of the accused, a damaged mobile phone was seized by the Crime Branch, prompting a thorough search for additional devices used by the suspects. Furthermore, a second pistol, along with four magazines and 17 rounds of ammunition, has been recovered from the Tapi river in Surat, adding to the incriminating evidence against the Bishnoi brothers. The suspects have allegedly transferred funds multiple times through their mobile phones, leading investigators to scour the river for these devices in the ongoing probe.
The investigation has uncovered the chilling details of the attack, involving two individuals on a motorcycle who discharged four rounds outside Khan’s residence in the early hours of April 14th. CCTV footage has provided valuable insights into the suspects’ identities, depicting them wearing caps and carrying backpacks.
