Mumbai Crime Branch Tightens Grip on Bishnoi Brothers in Salman Khan Firing Case

The Mumbai Crime Branch has uncovered crucial evidence against notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger sibling, Anmol Bishnoi, implicating them as the masterminds behind the recent firing incident at Salman Khan’s house. Both suspects have been named as the most wanted accused in the case, which has sent shockwaves through the city. Investigations have revealed that prior to the attack, the accused meticulously conducted reconnaissance missions outside Khan’s residence on four separate occasions, including his farmhouse. However, due to Khan’s prolonged absence from his farmhouse, the perpetrators shifted their target to his Bandra home, where they carried out the shooting.

During the apprehension of the accused, a damaged mobile phone was seized by the Crime Branch, prompting a thorough search for additional devices used by the suspects. Furthermore, a second pistol, along with four magazines and 17 rounds of ammunition, has been recovered from the Tapi river in Surat, adding to the incriminating evidence against the Bishnoi brothers. The suspects have allegedly transferred funds multiple times through their mobile phones, leading investigators to scour the river for these devices in the ongoing probe.

The investigation has uncovered the chilling details of the attack, involving two individuals on a motorcycle who discharged four rounds outside Khan’s residence in the early hours of April 14th. CCTV footage has provided valuable insights into the suspects’ identities, depicting them wearing caps and carrying backpacks. The relentless efforts of the Mumbai Crime Branch have culminated in the arrest of two suspects by Kutch Police, who were subsequently handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch for further investigation. The accused have been remanded to the custody of the Mumbai Crime Branch until April 25th.

The scope of the investigation has expanded with the addition of IPC sections 506(2) (threatening), 115 (abetment), and 201 (tampering with evidence). The Mumbai Crime Branch has relentlessly pursued this case, gathering irrefutable evidence that has led to the declaration of Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi as wanted accused. The determination of the authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice has been unwavering throughout the investigation.
