Mumbai is bracing for another round of heavy rainfall as the Regional Meteorological Department (RMC) has issued an orange alert for the city on July 1. This alert follows several days of intermittent heavy showers across Mumbai and its surrounding areas. The RMC predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places on Monday, July 1.
For June 30, the RMC has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, indicating a possibility of moderate rain. The weather department forecasts generally cloudy skies with intermittent spells of moderate rain in the city and suburbs for the next 24 hours.
Along with Mumbai, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued orange alerts for several other regions in Maharashtra. These include Pune, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, and Satara. The orange alert for these cities is valid for the following periods:

From June 30 to July 3, the weather department expects isolated very heavy rainfall over Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra. The maximum and minimum temperatures for Mumbai are expected to be around 31 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
