Police have initiated a murder investigation following the discovery of two charred bodies in a suspected arson attack on a home in Walthamstow, East London. The victims, who are yet to be identified, were found inside the house after firefighters extinguished the flames.Investigators believe the blaze, which destroyed the two-story end-of-terraced house, may have been deliberately set and connected to a previous incident that occurred outside the property.Detective Chief Inspector Matt Webb, leading the investigation, stated, “We believe there may have been an incident outside the address in Forest Road before the fire started and I am very keen to hear from anyone who witnessed something or perhaps has doorbell or dashcam footage.”Efforts are underway to identify the victims and inform their next of kin. The London Fire Brigade dispatched six fire engines and 40 firefighters to combat the blaze, which broke out on Sunday at 10.24pm. Paramedics pronounced two individuals found inside the terrace house dead at the scene.The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
