Based on the popular young adult novel by Holly Jackson, ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ follows Pip Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers) as she delves into the unsolved murder of Andie Bell, her classmate from five years ago. Despite the case being closed and Sal Singh, Andie’s boyfriend, being deemed guilty, Pip is convinced there’s more to the story.
As Pip digs deeper, she encounters obstacles and threats from those determined to keep the truth hidden. The series explores themes of justice, truth, and the lengths people will go to protect their secrets.
The cast includes Zain Iqbal as Ravi Singh, Andie’s brother; Anna Maxwell Martin as Detective Paula Hookham; Gary Beadle as Jack Fitz-Amobi, Pip’s father; and Mathew Baynton as Conrad Bell, Andie’s father. The series is written by Poppy Cogan, Zia Ahmed, Ajoke Ibironke, and Ruby Thomas, and directed by Dolly Wells. It is executive produced by Matthew Read, Matthew Bouch, and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures, along with Lucy Richer and Danielle Scott-Haughton for the BBC, Jonas Melcher for ZDFneo, and Dolly Wells, Holly Jackson, and Cogan.
‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ will be available on Netflix in most regions, excluding the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
