A collision between the Mysuru-Darbhanga Express train and a stationary train in Kavarapettai, Tamil Nadu, on Friday evening left several passengers injured. The incident occurred around 8:30 pm near the Ponneri-Kavarapettai section, according to reports.

A medical relief van and rescue team were immediately deployed from Chennai Central.
