The Hubble Space Telescope, operated by NASA, has recently unveiled a mesmerizing image of a cosmic object known as ‘Gomez’s Hamburger’. Situated approximately 6,500 light-years away in the Sagittarius constellation, this celestial spectacle is a product of a dying Sun-like star shedding its outer layers of material. According to NASA, this cosmic hamburger’s ingredients include dust and light, with the ‘buns’ being light reflecting off dust and the ‘patty’ being the dark band of dust in the middle that obscures the dying star. The image was released on Hamburger Day, May 28th, adding to the cosmic culinary delight.
