Navi Mumbai Building Collapse Traps Residents, Rescue Operations Underway

A three-storey building in Navi Mumbai’s Shahbaz village collapsed early on July 27, trapping several residents inside, according to ANI. The police, fire brigade, and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are at the scene carrying out rescue operations.

Kailas Shinde, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner, informed ANI that the building collapsed around 5 am. He stated, “It is a G+3 building. Two people have been rescued, and two are likely trapped. The NDRF team is here, and rescue operations are underway.”
