Take-Two Interactive’s NBA 2K25 has unveiled the official top 10 player ratings, giving fans a glimpse into the game’s updated roster. The new edition of the popular basketball simulation game features a showcase of international talent, with the top three spots all tied at a 97 overall rating.
Leading the charge is reigning MVP Nikola Jokic, representing the Denver Nuggets. He’s joined by Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, all sharing the top spot.
Moving down the list, fans will recognize familiar faces holding their ground. Seasoned veterans like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers) maintain high ratings at 96 overall. LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers) and Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors) also hold strong positions with 95 overall ratings, demonstrating that their impact on the NBA continues to be significant.
The final spots in the top 10 feature a blend of scoring prowess and defensive strength. Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns) and Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers) both hold a 94 overall rating.
Not far behind are Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns), and Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), all with a 93 overall rating.
One player making a significant jump in this year’s game is 2024 Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama. His rating increased from 84 in NBA 2K24 to 91 in NBA 2K25, reflecting his rapid development and impact on the court.
NBA 2K25 will be available on September 6th on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This year’s covers feature Jayson Tatum on the Standard Edition, WNBA champion A’ja Wilson on the WNBA and All-Star Editions, and NBA legend Vince Carter on the Hall of Fame Edition.
