The National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) invites applications for various teacher education programs offered through its Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) located in Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysore, and Shillong.
Aspiring candidates can submit their applications on NCERT’s official website, cee.ncert.gov.in. The application period commences on April 30 and concludes on May 31, 2024.
NCERT offers a range of teacher education programs, including four-year integrated courses and six-year integrated courses. The four-year integrated courses are open to candidates who have passed Class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% marks. Relaxation in marks is provided for reserved category candidates.
The six-year integrated courses are designed for candidates who have passed +2 / Hr. Sec./ Sr. Sec. or any equivalent examination recognized by the University/ Board with at least 50% marks. Relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
Candidates who have successfully completed their teacher education program will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the field of teaching. They will be prepared to nurture and inspire young minds, fostering their intellectual development and personal growth.
