Sunit Tingre, facing allegations of influencing the Pune Porsche crash case investigation, affirms his readiness for any inquiry, according to Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. Pawar dismisses the allegations against Tingre as unfounded, stating, “Did he try to suppress the matter? The allegations against him are baseless.”
Tingre’s presence at the police station following the accident raised suspicions of pressure on the investigation. However, Pawar clarifies that Tingre held a press conference to address the matter and expressed his willingness to cooperate with any inquiries. Pawar also denies making any calls to the Pune Commissioner of Police regarding the case.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar acknowledges Tingre’s visit to the police station but dismisses its impact on the investigation’s direction.
