NEEDTOBREATHE to Kick Off 2024 Toyota Pavilion Concert Season

The popular alt-rock act NEEDTOBREATHE is set to kick off the 2024 concert season at the Toyota Pavilion at Concord on May 8. The South Carolina-based band, led by vocalist Bear Rinehart, will bring their chart-topping hits like “Washed by the Water” and “Brother” to the open-air venue.

NEEDTOBREATHE is touring in support of their ninth studio album, “Caves,” which was released in 2023 and features collaborations with Judah & the Lion, Old Dominion, Carly Pearce, and Foy Vance. Showtime is set for 7 p.m., and tickets start at $24.

The Toyota Pavilion’s 2024 lineup promises an exciting array of musical genres. Following NEEDTOBREATHE’s performance, hip-hop artist 21 Savage will grace the stage on May 9. Other notable acts include R&B groups Xscape and SWV (June 27), classic rockers Styx, Foreigner, and John Waite (June 29), and alt-rock icons Foo Fighters (August 13). Country star Lainey Wilson (August 24) and chart-toppers Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago (September 1) will also take the stage. The season will culminate with a performance by San Jose’s own Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, the Doobie Brothers, on September 8.
