The men’s javelin throw qualification will see 32 athletes compete, divided into two groups of 16 each. To secure a spot in the final, athletes need to achieve the Qualification Standard (Q) of 84 meters or be among the 12 best performers (q). They have three attempts to meet these criteria.
Group A’s qualification round starts at 1:50 PM IST, while Group B begins at 3:20 PM IST. The event will be broadcast on the Sports18 network in India, and fans can also stream the action live on JioCinema.
