NEET PG 2024 Exam City Allotment Announced Today

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the exam city allotment details for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or NEET PG 2024. Candidates can access their test city allotment details through their registered email addresses. The official notice clarified that these details will be shared individually and will not be available on the NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in). The notice stated, “Pursuant to the receipt of preferred test city choices, the test city allocated to candidates by NBEMS shall now be communicated to all concerned candidates through email on 31st July 2024 at their registered email IDs.”

It further stated that the specific test center venue within the allocated city will be communicated through the admit card, which will be released on August 8, 2024, on the NBEMS website. The admit cards for the postgraduate medical entrance examination will provide candidates with information about the location of test centers among a list of 185 test cities, including the name and address of the test centres.

The NEET PG exam, originally scheduled for June 23, was postponed by the Health Ministry to a later date. The Postgraduate medical exam will now be held on August 11 in two shifts. The authorities will determine the exam city allotment for NEET PG randomly from among the four choices provided by the candidates. Candidates who did not provide any choice of test centres will be allocated a test center anywhere in the country.

It is important to note that candidates may not receive their preferred test center due to factors such as overcapacity, logistical constraints, administrative requirements, or security concerns, as per the notice issued earlier. In such cases, a test center in one of the nearest available locations will be allocated.
