The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the list of test cities for the NEET-PG 2024 examination, scheduled to be held on August 11. This crucial exam, designed for aspiring postgraduate medical students, will be conducted across 185 cities nationwide. This expanded network of test centers is a direct result of heightened security measures mandated by both NBEMS and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India.
It’s important to note that candidates who previously received admit cards for the earlier scheduled exam on June 23 will find their allocated test cities invalidated. They must now select their preferred test cities again from July 19 to July 22 (until 11:55 PM) through the NBEMS website. To access this selection process, candidates need to use their NEET-PG 2024 applicant login credentials.
During this selection process, candidates are required to choose four preferred test cities, considering their correspondence address state. If the demand surpasses the availability within their designated state, alternative test cities in nearby states will be offered. It’s crucial to understand that the allocation of test cities will be random and will not be based on the preference order provided by the candidates.
The admit cards for the NEET-PG 2024 exam will be released on August 8, providing the exact test centre venue within the allocated test city. To stay informed, candidates will receive detailed information via email on July 29 at their registered email IDs. For any further updates, queries, or assistance, candidates are advised to visit the NBEMS website and contact NBEMS Candidate Care Support.
