The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET UG 2024 results on its website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. This comes after the NEET UG main exam was conducted on May 5th, 2024, with approximately 24 lakh candidates participating. The Supreme Court, hearing multiple petitions concerning these allegations, has ordered the NTA to release the results in a masked format, concealing the identities of the candidates. A re-test was conducted on June 23rd, 2024, for a smaller group of 1,563 candidates. The results for this re-test were announced on June 30th, 2024.
The Supreme Court will continue hearing arguments on July 22nd regarding the allegations of malpractice in the prestigious NEET exam. There are calls for the exam to be canceled, a re-test to be conducted, and a court-monitored investigation into the alleged irregularities.
