Responding to years of customer and friend requests, Nehera has finally ventured into menswear. Like their women’s resort 2025 collection, the inspiration stems from Nehera’s hometown of Bratislava, particularly its Brutalist architecture. According to Ladislav Zdút, planning for the city’s imposing communist housing and offices included a small percentage of funds dedicated to public art, often used for fountains that served as gathering places and softened the stark landscape. This contrast between hard (structure, tailoring) and fluid (inspired by water and achieved through drapery) became the collection’s central concept, echoing a recurring brand theme. Embracing the Brutalists’ favored material, concrete, the team utilized a malfilé-silk suiting fabric reminiscent of its stony, gray color. While sharing a common theme with the women’s resort 2025 collection, the menswear line was more streamlined and casual. Fluid silhouettes took center stage, making a bold statement that left a lasting impression.
