The brand’s creative head, Ladislav Zdút, highlights the government’s allocation of funds for public art within these austere structures, often manifested as fountains that became gathering places. This contrast between rigidity and fluidity serves as the collection’s central concept, echoing the brand’s ongoing exploration of this theme.
The collection showcases a restrained color palette, predominantly featuring deep khaki and mocha hues, with occasional injections of vibrant neon lemon. Dyed denim adds saturated color accents, elevating the overall aesthetic. Standout pieces include a roomy bomber paired with pleated pants, striking a balance between tailoring and sportswear, and cocoon-shaped skirts that explore sculptural forms. The use of a malfilé-silk suiting fabric, resembling concrete in its stony gray hue, evokes the brutalist influence.
In response to customer demand, Nehera is expanding its offerings to include menswear for spring 2025. The men’s collection shares the same conceptual foundation as the women’s resort line but with a more edited and casual approach.
