The New Terminal One at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport is continuing to attract top international airlines, with the latest addition being Italian carrier Neos. This partnership marks a significant step towards creating a seamless travel experience between New York and Italy, with the new terminal set to open in 2026.
Neos, based in Milan Malpensa Airport, currently provides nonstop service to Milan and Palermo from New York City, utilizing Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft featuring both Premium and Economy cabins. The airline currently operates from JFK’s existing Terminal 1 but will transition to the New Terminal One upon its opening.
“Neos joining our list of carriers at The New Terminal One is an important step toward offering travelers seamless connections between New York and Italy,” said Jennifer Aument, CEO of The New Terminal One. “As we approach our 2026 opening, our goal of becoming JFK’s top choice for global airlines is stronger than ever.”
Carlo Stradiotti, CEO of Neos, shared his excitement about the partnership, saying, “This new partnership with The New Terminal One represents a significant opportunity for Neos to grow in the North American market while providing world-class infrastructure and service to our passengers.”
Neos joins a distinguished group of international airlines committed to the New Terminal One, including Air France, KLM, Etihad, LOT Polish Airlines, Korean Air, EVA Air, Air Serbia, SAS, and Air China. This impressive lineup underscores the terminal’s commitment to providing a global hub for air travel.
With a vision to be among the top 5 Skytrax terminals globally, The New Terminal One is designed to deliver a state-of-the-art travel experience. Spanning 2.6 million square feet, it will be the largest terminal at JFK, encompassing the footprint of current Terminals 1, 2, and 3. It will feature cutting-edge technology, an extensive selection of retail and dining options, and an overall commitment to a world-class travel experience.
