Nestle Q4 Results: Standalone Profit Surges 27% to ₹ 934 Crore

Nestle, a leading player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter (Q4). The company reported a substantial 27% increase in its standalone profit, reaching ₹ 934 crore, a significant jump from ₹ 737 crore recorded in Q4 of the previous year. Nestle’s revenue also experienced a robust 9% growth, climbing to ₹ 5,268 crore. This surge in both profit and revenue is primarily attributed to strategic price adjustments and a consistent demand for the company’s packaged food products.

The FMCG industry has witnessed a steady and even growing demand for products such as chocolates and biscuits, despite economic challenges. Nestle has effectively leveraged this demand by implementing price hikes on select items like coffee and noodles, a move that has protected its bottom line and contributed to the impressive financial performance.

To further strengthen its position, Nestle has declared a generous dividend of ₹ 8.5 per equity share. This announcement underscores the company’s confidence in its long-term prospects and commitment to shareholders.
