Puerto Rico’s busiest airport, Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU), will soon be home to a new Escape Lounge, offering travelers a vibrant and luxurious experience. This latest addition from Escape Lounges, a prominent third-party lounge provider, is set to open by the end of the year, catering to travelers seeking a more comfortable and relaxing airport experience.
The new lounge will embody the vibrant spirit of San Juan, incorporating the city’s energy into its design and amenities. Travelers can enjoy seasonal dining options curated by the Escape culinary team, along with a selection of local wines, beers, and spirits. Essential amenities such as power outlets, high-speed WiFi, and up-to-date flight information will be available for all guests. The lounge will also offer activity packs for children and access to a digital library featuring over 7,000 publications from 120+ countries, keeping both adults and children entertained.
Select frequent flyers and American Express cardholders will enjoy complimentary access to the lounge, while other guests can access the lounge on a prepaid basis. This expansion adds to Escape Lounges’ growing portfolio, which currently includes over 20 locations across the US and UK, with a new site in Brisbane, Australia, on the horizon.
Until the new lounge opens, travelers can make use of The Lounge San Juan, located in Terminals A and C, for their airport needs. However, this new addition is sure to elevate the airport experience for travelers passing through SJU, offering a unique and enjoyable pre-flight escape.
