Newcastle Knights players Jackson Hastings and Will Pryce were involved in an altercation during a training session last week, according to reports. The pair reportedly had a heated exchange that escalated to a physical altercation, but no punches were thrown. The situation was quickly de-escalated, and the training session was completed without further incident.
According to sources, the players were told to express their frustrations but then move on with the training session. Pryce joined the Newcastle club ahead of the 2024 season, with the Englishmen making the move from England to the NRL. Hastings and Pryce reportedly aren’t close but do have a working relationship. Pryce is yet to make his first grade debut, while Hastings has been in and out of the NRL side this season under Adam O’Brien. Pryce is reportedly a popular figure within the Knights squad, being labelled as having a “cheeky” personality.
