The video, shared by PTI, reveals that welding activities sparked the fire, which quickly escalated due to the presence of highly flammable materials such as fuel, tires, and fiber shades. The lack of fire safety clearance from the city’s municipal corporation has also come under scrutiny, as well as the alleged inadequacy of fire-fighting measures at the game zone. Rajkot Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava has stated that the gaming zone had a booking license, but the fire NOC was still under review and incomplete. Six individuals, including the owner, partner, and manager of the game zone, have been arrested and charged with culpable homicide.
