Nicole Richie Flew to Paris for 24 Hours Just for Saint Laurent

In the world of fashion, celebrities often jet-set to Paris for a few days during Fashion Week, but Nicole Richie took things to a whole new level. She flew in and out of the City of Light in a single day just to witness Anthony Vaccarello’s stunning spring/summer 2025 Saint Laurent presentation.

“If there is one reason I would fly to Paris for 24 hours, it’s to go to the Saint Laurent show,” Richie shared. “Every season I look forward to seeing what Anthony creates. I know I’m in for a fun night.” And fun it was! Richie landed a coveted front-row seat alongside a star-studded lineup including Rosé, Kate Moss, Zoë Kravitz, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

As Vaccarello’s slouchy suits and colorful laced skirts graced the runway, Richie found herself drawn to a few particular looks. “I loved the color palette of marigolds and emerald greens mixed in with the golds,” Richie remarked. “The suiting was perfect.” A longtime admirer of the 1970s aesthetic and anything bohemian, Richie sees a natural connection between Vaccarello’s designs and her personal style. “Saint Laurent oozes a sexy and sophisticated coolness with touches of the ’70s,” she explained. “It’s elegance and edge. I’ve been wearing YSL for as long as I can remember – both new and vintage.”

Of course, with a front-row seat at such a prestigious event, Richie’s outfit had to be just as impressive. She chose a timeless olive-green satin mini dress from Saint Laurent, paired with a luxurious faux fur coat. “I fell in love with [the dress] immediately,” Richie shared. “It’s timeless, sexy and sophisticated.” She completed the look with classic oversized chunky gold jewelry, which she explained reminded her of her own vintage YSL collection.

While fashion was the focus of the evening, it was impossible not to ask Richie about her upcoming projects, particularly the mysterious Simple Life reunion she’s been filming with Paris Hilton. “We just finished shooting the reunion special. We laughed our way through shooting,” Richie revealed. “We wanted to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of working together, and give people a side of us they haven’t seen. Expect a bit of a prequel – our origin story, mixed with an opera. That’s right: I said what I said.”

So, buckle up and get ready for a wild ride as Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton take us back to the beginning and beyond in their highly anticipated Simple Life reunion. In the meantime, we can only marvel at Richie’s whirlwind trip to Paris for a single night of fashion magic.
