Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has expressed his fondness for Bengaluru, citing the exceptional qualities of its people. Despite acknowledging the challenges faced in the city, Kamath emphasized that the friendliness and warmth of Bengaluru’s residents make it his favorite.
Kamath drew comparisons to other Indian cities, noting Hyderabad’s renowned Biryani, Mumbai’s attractive population, and Delhi’s affluent citizens. However, he asserted that Bengaluru stands out for its genuinely kind people.
Commending the city’s startup ecosystem, Kamath highlighted the abundance of talent available at a reasonable cost. He emphasized that Bengaluru offers an unparalleled environment for entrepreneurs seeking to establish and grow their businesses.
Kamath also shed light on his interactions with business leaders in Bengaluru, including Biocon’s executive chairperson, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw. He revealed that ongoing efforts are underway to enhance Bengaluru’s appeal and foster a more vibrant city experience.
