According to a news release, officers received a call about suspicious subjects at a business plaza and upon arriving, they found several businesses with shattered front doors. The Northbrook Police Department is currently reviewing surveillance camera footage of the incident.
Police Chief Christopher Kennedy said in the release, “We want to remind businesses to remove and/or secure all valuables that are visible and ensure that cash registers are cleared and left open.” He added, “These small steps can help prevent businesses from being targeted.”
