The festival was spearheaded by the North East Institute of Fashion Technology (NEIFT) under the visionary leadership of CEO Vikram Rai Medhi. One of the highlights of the festival was Daniel Syiem’s collection, “The Ryndia Chronicles.” This presentation honored the traditional Ryndia fabric of Meghalaya, a material Syiem has worked with passionately for over a decade. Syiem emphasized the significance of the festival, calling it “an excellent initiative by Vikram Rai Medhi” that brings global attention to the region’s cultural richness. He expressed gratitude for the platform, which has allowed Northeast India to shine on the world stage, offering designers and artisans invaluable exposure.
