In a dominant performance, Northern softball secured a resounding 15-0 victory over Palmyra on Monday. Star players Izzy Hobby and Hannah Keith spearheaded the offensive charge. Hobby’s impressive 2-for-2 performance included a triple and four RBIs, while Keith contributed three hits, including two doubles and a triple, driving in four runs.
Sammy Magee and Jalyn Welch formed an impenetrable defensive duo on the mound, combining to throw a no-hitter against Palmyra. Magee, credited with the win, struck out four batters in her two innings pitched, also adding an RBI to her tally. Welch’s stellar performance included striking out one batter in an inning of work, while also going 2-for-2 at the plate with a home run and an RBI.
