Notre Dame, ranked first in the state, showcased their dominance against Hightstown with a 3-1 victory. Rylee Michalak’s exceptional pitching performance led the way for the Irish. Michalak allowed only one hit while striking out 14 batters, continuing her remarkable season with 67 strikeouts and just four walks in seven games.
Gracyn Antosiewicz and Cara Mazzucco contributed offensively for Notre Dame with two hits each, while Bianca Pesca’s double drove in two runs. Hightstown’s only hit came from Angelina Benitez, who also stole a base and scored their lone run.
