NTA Announces JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Results: 56 Students Score Perfect 100 Percentile

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the JEE Main 2024 Session 2, with 56 students achieving a remarkable 100 percentile. Among these high achievers is Gajare Nilkrishna Nirmalkumar, the son of a farmer from Maharashtra, who secured the top rank in the prestigious exam. Despite facing numerous challenges and financial constraints, Nilkrishna managed to score a perfect 300 out of 300 in the JEE Main exam.

Nilkrishna’s father works as a farmer, while his mother is a homemaker. Nilkrishna, who is currently preparing for JEE in Kota, achieved All India Rank One in JEE-Main. He had previously secured a 100 percentile score and a perfect 300 out of 300 in JEE-Main January.

Nilkrishna, reflecting on his journey, shared that his childhood was spent in Belkhed of Washim district in Maharashtra. His family depends on farming for their livelihood. After completing his 10th grade, Nilkrishna moved to Kota to prepare for engineering and enrolled at the Allen Institute. Despite facing financial challenges, Nilkrishna expressed gratitude towards his parents for their unwavering support and motivation. He credited them for fulfilling many of his needs and always encouraging him, especially during times when his test scores were not as high as expected.

Discussing his preparation strategy, Nilkrishna revealed his aspiration to pursue research in Physics, which motivated his focus on JEE. He highlighted his approach to subject-wise preparation, emphasising the use of Physics class notes as a reference. He also detailed his study methods for physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry. In addition to his studies, Nilkrishna is passionate about archery and has participated in state and national tournaments. He believes that archery teaches him concentration, which is essential for achieving his goals.

Apart from his academic pursuits, Nilkrishna enjoys watching South Indian films, which he indulges in after exams or once a week. Looking ahead, Nilkrishna is focused on JEE Advanced and aims to pursue a BTech in the Computer Science branch at IIT Mumbai. He emphasised the importance of rigorous practice in Mathematics, along with a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to seek clarification when needed. He dedicates 10 to 12 hours to self-study every day as he prepares for his next academic milestone.
