New York City Tourism + Conventions has announced the opening of reservations for NYC Restaurant Week® Summer 2024, taking place from Monday, July 22nd to Sunday, August 18th. This twice-yearly event allows diners to indulge in a culinary journey across over 600 participating restaurants spanning more than 70 neighborhoods.
The program offers prix-fixe menus for lunch and dinner, featuring classic favorites and new culinary delights from a variety of cuisines. Prices range from $30 to $60 per meal, exclusive of taxes and gratuity.
“NYC Restaurant Week is back for its 32nd summer, offering locals and visitors the opportunity to dine at over 600 restaurants, featuring an incredibly diverse array of cuisines across all five boroughs,” said Nancy Mammana, CMO and Interim CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions. “NYC is one of the world’s best dining cities, and NYC Restaurant Week is a great reminder to celebrate our incredible variety, innovation and value.”
Diners can filter participating restaurants by criteria such as “cuisine,” “borough,” “neighborhood,” “accessibility,” “meal type,” “weeks participating,” and “menu availability.”
“NYC Restaurant Week has been an authentic taste & tradition in New York City for over 30 years, and I’m delighted that Sylvia’s can continue to be part of this beloved event. We look forward to serving both New Yorkers and visitors our classic and authentic soul food right in the heart of Harlem,” said hospitality advocate and leader Tren’ness Woods-Black, co-chair of the New York City Tourism + Conventions Culinary Committee.
“I’m excited for the return of NYC Restaurant Week this summer, a beloved program integral to the City’s culinary scene. For over 30 years, NYC Restaurant Week has offered people from across the boroughs and around the world a chance to experience the City’s best and most cherished restaurants, old and new, all at an affordable price,” said chef and restaurateur David Burke, co- chair of the New York City Tourism + Conventions Culinary Committee. “We’re eager to welcome New Yorkers and visitors back this summer to experience the City’s exciting and vibrant dining scene once more.”
Participating restaurants may choose to extend their NYC Restaurant Week offerings through September 1st. The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment has collaborated with New York City Tourism + Conventions to sponsor NYC Restaurant Week, helping to cover participation fees for businesses throughout the boroughs. Partners for this summer’s program include Amtrak, the James Beard Foundation, OpenTable, Kayak, and Brooklyn Magazine.
