Oasis Free Clinics: Adapting to Meet the Changing Needs of Our Community

Oasis Free Clinics has been providing quality healthcare to uninsured adults in Brunswick and surrounding areas for the past four years. We believe everyone deserves access to healthcare, and we strive to treat every person with dignity and respect.

Over the years, we’ve adapted our services to meet the changing needs of our patients and community. We’ve added mobile clinics, community health workers, vision care, and mental health counseling to ensure that our patients have access to the care they need.

Mobile Clinics

In October 2021, we launched our mobile clinic program to bring healthcare closer to our patients. We provide weekly mobile clinics throughout our community, offering a variety of services, including primary care, chronic disease management, and mental health counseling.

Community Health Workers

In 2022, we added community health workers to our team to help us bridge language and cultural differences and build trusting relationships with our patients. Community health workers are invaluable members of our team, and they play a vital role in helping us provide culturally competent care.

Vision Care

In September 2022, we began providing eye exams and glasses to our patients. We partnered with a local optometrist to provide these services, and we’ve already provided over 200 eye exams and glasses to our patients.

Mental Health Counseling

We offer mental health counseling services to our patients, including individual counseling, group counseling, and medication management. We have a team of dedicated mental health professionals who are committed to providing high-quality, affordable mental healthcare.

We are committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to our community. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, and we will continue to adapt our services to meet the changing needs of our patients and community.
