Ocean Club Condominium Balcony Issue Persists, Residents Frustrated

Ocean Club Condominium Balcony Issue Remains Unresolved

Over two years ago, concerns were raised about the structural integrity of balconies at the Ocean Club Condominium in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Despite ongoing efforts to address the issue, some residents still cannot use their balconies.

A resident, who reached out to local media after previous coverage of the issue, expressed frustration over the lack of progress and estimated completion date. They stated that the earliest they could expect to access their balcony is July, which would mean the entire summer would be lost for all residents.

The resident also highlighted the closure of other amenities, such as the pool and gym, and an attempted illegal rent increase by the landlord. They noted that despite the building’s history of addressing issues, the balcony problem has dragged on for an extended period.

The balconies must be deemed structurally safe before they can be used again, but residents are questioning why it has taken so long to resolve the problem. Previous letters and photos documenting the issue have been shared with local media.

Residents remain hopeful that the Ocean Club Condominium management and board will continue to work towards a satisfactory resolution, but they are frustrated by the lack of communication and extended timeline for completing the repairs.
