The Ohio State Buckeyes had a strong start to the 2024 NFL Draft with wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. being selected in the first round. Harrison Jr. was taken by the Indianapolis Colts with the fourth overall pick, continuing the Buckeyes’ streak of first-round wide receivers. He is the fourth Buckeye wide receiver to be taken in the first round in the past three years, joining Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Hall Jr. was selected by the Cleveland Browns with the 55th overall pick. He is the only other three-and-done OSU player in the draft, following in the footsteps of Chase Young and Nick Bosa. Eight other former Buckeyes are hoping to join Harrison Jr. and Hall Jr. on Day 2 of the draft. They include wide receiver Julian Fleming, cornerback Denzel Burke, safety Lathan Ransom, and linebacker Tommy Eichenberg. The draft continues on Friday with rounds 2-3 and concludes on Saturday with rounds 4-7.
