Oilers Tie Stars in Game 4, Setting Up Best-of-Three Series

The Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars are headed to Dallas tied 2-2 in the Western Conference final after the Oilers rallied to win Game 4, 5-2, on Wednesday night.

The Stars jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals from Jason Robertson and Joe Pavelski. But the Oilers stormed back with five unanswered goals, including two in the second period and three in the third.

Connor McDavid had three assists for the Oilers, while Leon Draisaitl, Zach Hyman, Evander Kane, and Darnell Nurse each scored a goal. Mike Smith made 28 saves for the win in net.

The series is now a best-of-three, with Game 5 set for Friday night in Dallas. Game 6 will be played in Edmonton on Sunday night, and if necessary, Game 7 will be played in Dallas on Tuesday night.

The Oilers are now 6-2 in elimination games this postseason, while the Stars are 3-3. The winner of the series will advance to the Stanley Cup Final to face the Eastern Conference champion, either the Florida Panthers or the New York Rangers.
