oneworld® Appoints Loren Neuenschwander as Vice President of Membership

The oneworld® alliance has announced the appointment of Loren Neuenschwander as its new Vice President of Membership, effective immediately. This appointment marks a significant step in oneworld’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global network and enhance the travel experience for its customers.

Neuenschwander brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent over 28 years at Delta Air Lines in various senior leadership positions. He has a deep understanding of the airline industry’s complexities and opportunities across both developed and emerging markets. His expertise spans airline partnerships, alliances, corporate strategy, finance, and operations.

Prior to joining oneworld, Neuenschwander served as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business and dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Computer Science from Grace College.

In his new role, Neuenschwander will be responsible for overseeing oneworld’s membership strategy, enhancing partnerships within the alliance, and leading the integration of Fiji Airways and Oman Air as full members. He will also play a key role in promoting the alliance’s sustainability efforts.

Neuenschwander’s appointment signifies oneworld’s commitment to delivering a seamless and elevated travel experience for its customers. His leadership will be instrumental in driving the alliance’s strategic goals and supporting its member airlines.
