An online food series is heading to the Potato Coop in Susquehanna Township for an upcoming episode. ‘America’s Best Restaurants’ will be making a stop in early May to film at the restaurant located at 2650 Gravel Road in the Susquehanna Union Green neighborhood.
The Potato Coop is owned by Allen Peck, who previously operated a successful food truck and catering business for around a decade. The restaurant opened its doors in 2023 and specializes in a variety of potato-based dishes, including french fries, burgers, wings, and chicken tenders.
‘America’s Best Restaurants’ is a nationwide food media show and marketing company with offices in Florence, Kentucky, and Las Vegas, Nevada. The show focuses on spotlighting local, independently-owned restaurants, traveling the country to share their stories and feature their unique culinary offerings.
During the Potato Coop visit on May 6th, the show will be showcasing Peck’s hand-breaded chicken sandwich. The restaurant’s menu also boasts a wide range of other options, such as smashburgers, cheesesteaks, barbecue, hot dogs, and sausages. Their famous fries are available in six different styles: fresh cut, curly, waffle, tots, steak fries, and sweet potato.
The episode featuring the Potato Coop will be available for viewing on ‘America’s Best Restaurants’ website and YouTube channel at a later date. This inclusion in the popular series is a testament to the restaurant’s culinary expertise and its reputation as a beloved local eatery.
