Oppo works with both Qualcomm and MediaTek for processors and uses Android with and without Google Services. Ensuring generative AI features work consistently across all these devices is a challenge, but Oppo is confident it can do it.
Oppo is working with Google to bring Gemini Nano features to future Find X and Reno devices. It is also collaborating with MediaTek to enhance computational efficiency and storage. Additionally, Oppo is partnering with Microsoft to use AI for natural voice and text conversion, as well as to improve connectivity between desktop computers and smartphones.
Oppo’s announcement comes at a time when other smartphone manufacturers are also investing heavily in AI. Google recently released the Pixel 8a with some Gemini Nano AI features, and Samsung offers Galaxy AI features on its high-end Galaxy S series. However, Oppo’s commitment to bringing AI to all its devices, regardless of price, is what sets it apart.
