Oprah Winfrey has showered praise on Alicia Keys’ new Broadway musical, ‘Hell’s Kitchen.’ The TV host took to Instagram to share a series of photos from the show’s opening night celebration and wrote a heartfelt message of support.
“You know it’s a great show when you wake up the next morning humming the songs,” wrote Oprah of the show which opened to reviews at the Shubert Theatre in New York City the day before.
Along with a poster of Key’s Broadway show, Oprah uploaded a series of pictures featuring Hell’s Kitchen opening celebrations. In the first picture of the carousel shows a click of Oprah posing at the afterparty with friends, Michelle Obama and Gayle King, as well as Keys, Keys’ mother, Terria Joseph and Keys’ husband, Swizz Beatz.
The 70-year-old media personality further wrote, “I’m so proud and happy for you and what you so artfully accomplished with your new Broadway musical @hellskitchenbway — surrounded by a team of fantastics and a spectacular cast.”
“Brava, Brava, my friend, many times over,” Oprah Winfrey concluded.
