Oradea Airport in northwest Romania has recently inaugurated a new terminal on Saturday, May 18, significantly enhancing its infrastructure and passenger handling capabilities. This development marks a pivotal moment for the airport and aims to improve the overall travel experience for passengers.
The new terminal at Oradea Airport has effectively doubled the airport’s capacity, enabling it to accommodate up to 800 passengers per hour. The airport also expanded its parking platform to 320 spaces, catering to the increased number of passengers and ensuring convenient access for travelers. The total value of the financing agreement for the new terminal was approximately RON 234.7 million, with the eligible value exceeding RON 184.9 million. Impressively, RON 181.2 million of this amount represented non-refundable financing, covering 98% of the total eligible value.
Passengers on Hisky flight H45679 to Hurghada were the first to use the new terminal. They were welcomed with personalized gifts suitable for a beach day and enjoyed sweet treats, setting a positive tone for their journey.
