This week’s Orange County high school baseball rankings feature some notable changes, with Orange Lutheran returning to the top spot after a three-game sweep of Mater Dei last week.
The Lancers have now won nine of their past 11 games, with their only losses coming against Corona (the No. 1 team in CIF-SS Division 1) and Harvard-Westlake (No. 3 in Division 1).
Mission Viejo has climbed into the Top 10 after beating Tesoro in two of their three South Coast League games. The Diablos are now 15-10 overall and 7-2 in league play.
Aliso Niguel has also made a move up the rankings, rising to No. 7 after winning 10 of its past 13 games. The Wolverines are now 16-7 overall and 7-2 in the Sea View League.
