ORRIS: Modern Simplicity Comes to Rocky River
A new apartment complex, dubbed ORRIS, is set to bring modern simplicity to the Rocky River community. The four-story building, located at 22655 Center Ridge Road, will offer 54 units ranging from studios to two bedrooms. The units will feature spacious floor plans, ranging from 598 to 1,180 square feet, and will come equipped with an in-unit washer and dryer, sizeable quartz islands and counters, walk-in closets, privacy shades, and stainless steel appliances. Several of the units will also boast handicap accessible bathrooms, while all apartments except for the studios will have private balconies.
Beyond the individual units, ORRIS will offer a host of amenities designed to enhance residents’ quality of life. These include a fitness center, an indoor community space complete with a fireplace and beverage center, and a mailroom with a separate package area. The outdoor area will feature a fire pit and seating, fostering a sense of neighborhood connectivity.
Construction of ORRIS is a joint venture between the Northeast Ohio-based Krueger Group and Lyndhurst-based RHM Real Estate Group. The $10 million project sits on land that was purchased as two parcels for just over $1 million combined. The first building is expected to open in May 2023, with a second building planned for 2026.
Bobby Krueger, a partner and president at the Krueger Group, expressed his excitement about bringing ORRIS to the Rocky River market. He noted the lack of new development in the area over the past 12 years and believes that ORRIS will meet the needs of a diverse range of residents, from young professionals to empty nesters.
